PURCHASING SPECIALIST

Position Overview:The Purchasing Specialistshould be an experienced, knowledgeable professional with a background in buying and will be exposed to unlimited opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Specialist:
  • Enter purchase orders and tracks from PO entry to shipment
  • Maintain various Excel spreadsheets
  • Update sample/shipment information in computer system
  • Handle high volume of incoming samples
  • Email internal requests for documents
  • Create folders and files documents

Qualifications for the Purchasing Specialist:

  • Purchasing or customer service experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizing and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Punctuality, reliability and initiative
  • Strong computer skills

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
