Clinical Nurse Manager Critical Care

Reporting to the Director of Critical Care, the Nurse Manager of Critical Care will manage the Surgical¬ ICU¬ and the Medical¬ ICU. The Manager of Critical Care will have the support of an Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, experienced staff nurses and nursing aides.¬ 

The Critical Care Nurse Manager will provide administrative and clinical leadership for the SICU and the MICU. ¬ The Manager will have many big and small responsibilities, including:

  • staying up to date with evidence based practice and in-servicing the staff when necessary.

  • assess nursing competencies and provide education where needed

  • Implement quality improvement programs

  • Staffing coverage and scheduling

  • fiscal responsibilities while providing the resources necessary to provide excellent nursing care¬ 

The Nursing Manager of the ICU will consistently motivate, mentor and lead the nurses and nursing aides on the Surgical ICU and the Medical ICU, while maintaining operational aspects of the unit in collaboration with support services.¬ 
The Intensive Critical Unit Clinical Nurse Manager will contribute to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational and research efforts. The Nurse Manager of Critical Care Unit will be the frontline supervisor for assigning, building and directing teams to provide care to the patients assigned.¬

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
