We have an exciting opportunity to join Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center as a Director of Radiology.
POSITION SUMMARYThe Director of Radiology supervises all day-to-day operations for the Radiology department, ensuring appropriate staffing, productivity standards, high quality service, and high member satisfaction through collaboration with radiology services.
ResponsibilitiesImplementation and maintenance of standards of care.
Collaborates with Radiologists, Service Area Manager, and Service Line Managers ensuring clinically standardized and quality-focused care to all members.
Ensures adherence to currently established departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Manages appointment access to comply with regional targets and develops action plans for areas not meeting those targets.
Supervises and ensures day-to-day operational effectiveness of department.
Supervises all staff w/in the department maintaining safe staffing levels within productivity standards and procedure guidelines.
Ensures adherence to policies regarding accreditation standards from ACR, FDA/ MQSA.
Rounds the department daily presenting results and follow-up action plans when necessary.
Supports the development, documentation, monitoring, training, and orienting of all department employees.
Supports monitoring tools that have been developed to assess quality and establish consistency throughout the department.
Supports the process and culture of continuous performance and quality improvement.
Manages department operating budget (to include payroll, non -payroll & agency), maintaining budget neutral or positive variances, and outlining appropriate action plans to correct deficiencies.
QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBS degree in radiological science requiredMS or MBA preferred7 years clinical radiology experience 5 years experience in a supervisor or lead role in radiology department.
Previous financial and performance management experience required.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
ARRT (R) (M)Successful completion of a formal (Accredited) educational /training program for Radiology and or Medical Imaging.
Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray ComplianceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and ability to ensure that standards are being met.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
