Accounting Clerk I

What do our Accounting Clerk's do?The Accounting Clerk provides administrative support to the accounting team, undertaking clerical tasks such as data entry of accounts payable and accounts receivable, filing, making occasional phone calls, and basic bookkeeping. This is a Hybrid role that does require on site work at least two days a week. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare bank deposits and post payments to customer accounts Research discrepancies in customer payments Prepare customer invoices Process vendor invoices into Accounts Payable system Reconcile vendor invoices and identify discrepancies Request and process W-9 forms from new vendors Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk with three or more years of experience Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines High degree of accuracy and attention to detail What do you need? High school diploma or GED - required 3
(three) years of Finance or Accounting experience - required This is a full-time position. The Accounting Assistant will report to an office. Work Schedule:
