Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information - Maintain patient records and update medical charts using electronic medical record systems such as Eaglesoft and Epic - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar setting is preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus - Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Eaglesoft and Epic - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality If you are a motivated individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply for the position of Medical Receptionist.
